Did not uphold "we can fix any space before window installed"
We live in an older home. Told sales rep we would undoubtedly need repairs to window opening on two windows we knew of. His response " we can repair, fix any opening before installation.
We have three windows all on same side of house that are not level. Of course this was not noticed the day we wrote check. After dealing with the harassment about referrals for days they finally came out to see my problem.
Response! We'll there is nothing we can do about that. Too bad we did not notice this before payment.
Then they continued to call about my referrals! Sure I said I would give referrals complete with pictures of the unlevel windows. That stopped the calls cold.
Make sure you check level of windows and really get up close to see all caulking is neat. And if you have hardwood floors don't let them out of your sight. They will drag buckets across your floors leaving scratches. (We had just resurfaced ours and explicitly asked them to take care).
We love the windows, but we paid way too much and it was a nightmare. Please compare and have prices in mind before you call them. And wait before committing, the price will come down. We just we're not prepared for the aggressive sales pitch and we had not done enough research.

Only one good thing-WalMart gift card!
Our salesman was Bo from Arkansas. He was very nice and personable.
He and my husband talked about football and other man stuff. For the first hour, I was intrigued. I had my mind set that I would not buy that day because I like to research. Who doesn't???
Bo became obsessive after the first hour and around the time that he told us about the awesome deal we were getting. One low price, one day only, may not be here tomorrow, no guarantees, blah blah!! He talked so much that we thought he would stop breathing. He gave us a price of $10,000 for 9 windows and the price eventually dropped to $5,992!!
They kept saying "We are impressed with yall and know that yall are good people". They met us only 2 hours before and knew nothing about us other than that we are potential customers. Bo seriously would not leave my house. After 2 phone calls with random sales people, I said "no more phone calls tonight, it's bedtime".
He did not get the message and kept rambling. He then told us that they are not a car lot so bargaining after the meeting would not happen. Bull***! They want our money and I'm sure if I keep refusing, they will give it to us for free!
Take the gift card and with every purchase, remind yourself of the terrible deal you saved yourself from!! I worked for 2 hours and 45 minutes for that gift card!
The company should have contacted you to resolve this. It's a shame that there was no follow up. That speaks volumes, especially for possible new customers.

Highly pleased with Windows USA windows and installation
We had a highly informative presentation about six years ago. I was sold on the fused sealant of the Windows USA window assembly.
I think this is vastly better than any sort of gasket. There were 16 windows in all plus a new screen door. The windows were made and shipped within several weeks. Each window was custom-built to the exact window opening in our brick exterior walls.
Two very polite and competent fellows installed them in two days. The windows are fantastic--well worth the higher price of lesser windows.
We have less noise, less dust, and excellent thermal insulation value of the windows. Very pleased and highly recommend them if you can afford the best in vinyl framed windows.

Bad Rap
WOW you know my wife and I were referred by one of my wife's peers, we were looking for windows, and yes the sales demonstration was scheduled late at night and took a little over two hours. However after having shopped for windows for a little over a year and being very aware of our options and the price of not only windows but also installation we were sold.
Seriously , the salesman Scott I think was his name. was very nice and answered all of our questions professionally. Here is the deal, he handed us a $100 Wal-Mart card right away, and the lady who schedules the installation called us twice to let us know that the windows would be done early and installed after only 3 weeks from the day we signed the agreement. Here we are after two days of installing 20 windows and the installers ROCK!
not only are they professional but they are well mannered and courteous and most of all they are clean!
They have taken extra time to install the windows correctly. I don't know who wrote the other reviews but I would do business with these guys again in a heartbeat.
You must be someone that works their! Because only window usa would make a reply like that.
Look at the name on your sales ticket the salesman name would be on it. All companies will put a good response.

Take the Card and Make THEM Pay!
I was recommended to these guys by 2 relatives who used them. But after getting the high pressure sales treatment and having them reduce the price $6,000 when we refused their original offer, it doesn't take a math genius to figure out how these guys can afford to "give away" so many Wal-Mart cards.
What really makes me angry is that I now KNOW my relatives got taken from these guys!
So, go ahead and schedule these guys if you want the card, listen to their spiel, then take the card and say "I have to think about it." Stick to your guns and immediately, your price too will go down...way, WAY down. I can't speak for their quality because I wouldn't let them change a light bulb in my house, but I as a consumer will not be *** enough to fall for their scam!
If your going to buy from them, just keep saying no. After 4 or 5 attempts you will get the rock bottom price.
They will call the office every 15 minutes as you say I cant afford it right now.They will say " Oh they have such a nice home,great people, really want to help them, blah blah blah. Then hand you the phone, and amazingly the price drops, and drops and drops.12 k goes to 10.5 k then to 9k and lower.

EXTREMELY PLEASED with the final results! 1) Saw a reduction in our electricity bill the first month.
They were installing the windows on day one and two of the billing cycle, so I’m anticipating even less usage next month. 2) Pleasantly surprised by the reduction of street noise. We no longer hear vehicles scrapping bottom when they drive too fast over the dips in the road. The dogs no longer bark at every walker or the mail carrier.
3) A little shocked to find out that one gentleman would be installing over a dozen windows in two days. He accomplished the task; but be prepared they may work late.

Respectful, Friendly, and Courteous
My experience with Windows USA was awesome. From customer service, the guy who demonstrated the windows, and the installers were respectful, friendly, and courteous.
The installers were professional, diligent, and precise with each task. I love my new windows, blocking the outside heat really make a difference in the comfort of my home (approx.2000 sq. ft using 3 window units). The windows are beautiful, really changed the look of my 1979 home.

Excellent From Start to Finish
Very easy to use and clean. The screens are very easy to remove, for cleaning purposes.
These 100% vinyl, very durable, gas filled windows are energy efficient: and quiet. We no longer hear cicadas, barking dogs, jet airplanes flying overhead, trains going through town and especially; loud automobiles traveling through our neighborhood. We sleep so much better at night. These windows come with a night-time security latches.
You can open the bottom of the window, to let fresh air in; without criminals being able to invade your home. The customer service team is incredible. They take customer service, to an unbeatable level. Our contracted installers were extremely professional, knowledgeable, and informative.
The installers removed all of the old window insulation, tight end any loose framing, kept their work area clean, sealed the new window frames with spray foam, and specially formulated silicone caulk. They also took the old windows with them. No mess or anything for us to clean up. After they left, I painted the inside wood window frames, not the vinyl window frames, with Valspar Season Flex exterior semi-gloss #936245 paint+primer, untinted ultra-white base paint; with a new Purdy Nylox soft 2.0 angled paint brush.
The paint matched the color of the vinyl windows. The paint gave a bright and durable coating, to the interior wooden framing. We are extremely happy we chose Windows U.S.A.; made completely in the U.S.A. The warranty is unbeatable.
This was a great upgrade to our home and an investment we won't regret. A job well done!!!

Spotless See-Through Shine
I really like them, but I have not had them long enough to get electric bill yet. I don't feel any drafts.
I love the slight tint and the easy cleaning techniques. My installers were super and very hard working. They cleaned up everything that they used to install the windows and they cleaned every window to a spotless see-through shine. They were extremely hard working.
Couldn't have ask for any hard-working husband and wife team. I've gotten a lot of compliments on my replacement windows. Love my new patio door with double locks and inside door stopper.

Excellent From Start to Finish
Excellent customer service from start to finish. Their windows are the best I have ever seen, and more than I can imagine in a window.
Unlike other window companies, Windows USA will do all the work needed to install their windows; so, you don’t need to worry about anything… rotten wood, screens, etc. because they do it all! I love my windows and I highly recommend Windows USA to anyone thinking about replacing their windows. Oops!
Almost forgot, if you like making money, try their referral program…in less than a month, I have received $325, for my referral already…and that’s more than my monthly payment!
